Rovaniemi (administrative joint venture)
The Rovaniemi administrative community ( Finnish Rovaniemen seutukunta ) is one of six administrative communities ( seutukunta ) in the Finnish landscape of Lapland . It includes the eponymous Rovaniemi , the largest city in Lapland, and the neighboring municipality of Ranua to the south . The rural municipality of Rovaniemi was also part of the administrative community until it was incorporated into the city of Rovaniemi in early 2006.
