geography

Pagny-lès-Goin is located southeast of Metz at an altitude between 200 and 266 m above sea level. The municipality covers 5.17 km². The east of the municipality is part of the Metz-Nancy-Lorraine airport . The high-speed Paris – Strasbourg line runs through the south of the municipality .

history

The village belonged to Germany from 1871 to 1919 and from 1940 to 1944 and was called Paningen during this time .
