Ogy-Montoy-Flanville is a commune in the French department of Moselle in the region Grand Est . It belongs to the canton of Le Pays messin in the arrondissement of Metz . It was created as Commune nouvelle by a decree of December 22, 2016 with effect from January 1, 2017, by merging the previous communities of Ogy and Montoy-Flanville . They have been Communes deleguées ever since . Montoy-Flanville is the main town (chief-lieu). Neighboring towns are Noisseville in the northwest, Retonfey in the northeast, Maizery in the east, Colligny in the southeast, Marsilly in the south, Coincy in the southwest and Vantoux in the west.
