Rozérieulles is a French commune with 1,383 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Metz .

Rozérieulles is located a few kilometers west of Metz on the other side of the Moselle at an altitude between 184 and 342 m above sea level, the mean height is 234 m. The municipality covers 6.58 km².

history

The place was first mentioned in 977 as Rosolae and was owned by the bishops of Metz in the Middle Ages.

In the years 1915 to 1918 and 1940 to 1944 he carried the Germanized name Roseringen .
