Vry is located a little northeast of Metz at an altitude between 228 and 349 m above sea level, the mean height is 290 m. The municipal area covers 15.08 km².

The village of Vry

history

In the Middle Ages, the village was known as Klein-Metz for its fortifications .

1915-18 it had the German name Verich and 1940-44 Werich .
