The municipality of Bazoncourt is located on the French Nied , about 15 kilometers southeast of Metz at an altitude between 215 and 337 m above sea level. The municipality covers 13.21 km².

history

From 1915 to 1918 the village had the Germanized name Basonhofen , from 1940 to 1944 Basenhofen .
