Flocourt is a French commune with 116 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Metz .

geography

The municipality of Flocourt is 25 kilometers south-east of Metz at an altitude between 226 and 273 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.53 km².

history

The village was first mentioned in 1050, but there are remains of a villa from Roman times. From 1915 to 1918 it had the Germanized name Flodoaldshofen and from 1941 to 1944 Flodalshofen .
