Servigny-lès-Sainte-Barbe is located a little east of Metz at an altitude between 205 and 281 m above sea level, the mean height is 265 m. The municipal area covers 3.09 km².

history

The small village of Poixe has also been part of the village since 1812. Both villages played a role in the Battle of Noisseville in the Franco-Prussian War on August 31, 1870.

1915-1918 and 1940-1944 the place had the German name Servingen .
