Nouilly is a French commune with 723 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Metz and the canton of Le Pays messin (until 2015: canton of Vigy ).

history

The village bore the German name Niverlach from 1915 to 1918 and Nieverlach from 1940 to 1944 .
