Rezonville-Vionville is a French commune with 503 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Metz and the canton of Les Coteaux de Moselle .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous communities of Rezonville and Vionville , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Rezonville.

geography
The community is located around 15 kilometers west of Metz on the D 903 departmental road . The area is part of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park . Neighboring municipalities are: Saint-Marcel in the north, Gravelotte in the northeast, Ars-sur-Moselle in the east, Gorze in the south and southeast, Chambley-Bussières in the southwest, Tronville in the west, and Mars-la-Tour and Bruville in the northwest.
