Secourt is a French commune with 196 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region ( Lorraine until 2015 ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Metz .

Secourt is located southeast of Metz at an altitude between 227 and 281 m above sea level, the mean height is 262 m. The municipality covers 7.31 km².

history

The village bore the German name Unterhofen from 1915 to 1918 and 1940 to 1944 .

Attractions

In the place there is a chapel and a castle from the 14th century. The castle was restored in the 20th century.
