Rovca

The Rovca ( Montenegrin - and Serbian - Cyrillic Ровца ) is a historical region in the center of today's Montenegro . The region was first documented in a Defter from the late 15th century in the eastern Herzegovina , in the time of the Ottomans occupied Sanjak of Herzegovina . The region was part of Brda , a historical region also located in Montenegro today in the southeast of the Dinaric mountain range . The Rovca was the settlement and dominion area of ​​the Rovčani , a Serbian tribe named after this region .
