The Rover 14 , a 4-door sedan, was manufactured by Rover between 1933 and 1940 as the successor to the Rover Pilot 14 and Rover Speed Pilot.

The (from 1937) streamlined sedan (similar to models 10 and 12 , but with a round rear) had a 6-cylinder ohv engine with a displacement of 1577 cm³, which developed 54 bhp (39.7 kW). The car was 111 km / h fast.

In 1938 the car received a larger engine with 1901 cm³. The top speed increased slightly to 112 km / h. The Rover 16 was also offered with the same body but a larger engine . Like all other civil models, the Rover 14 was no longer manufactured from 1940 due to the war.

Only after the start of civilian production after the Second World War in 1945 was there a Rover 14 again. The concept corresponded to that of the pre-war car, but a trunk compartment was added to the body, as was the case with models 10 , 12 and 16 .

In 1948 the Rover P3 replaced the model.
