Royal Military Police
The Royal Military Police (RMP) is the military police of the British Army , the British Army . Colloquially, the members of the RMP are also called RedCaps , which is due to their red peaked caps or berets . The RMP was used in numerous conflicts in the 20th century and is currently also in use in Afghanistan . Other British armed forces have their own military police units .
