The Royal Thai Army FC (Thai: สโมสร ฟุตบอล ทหาร บก) is a Thai football club from Bangkok , which plays in the Thai League 3 - Lower, the third highest division in Thailand.
The association was founded in 2011 as the Army Welfare Department . After the club rose to Regional League Division 2 , the third division of Thailand, as the winner of the Khǒr Royal Cup , the club name was changed to Royal Thai Army FC . In 2015 and 2016 the club played in the Bangkok area. With the introduction of the league reform in 2017, the club played in the Thai League 3 in the Lower region.
Stadion
The club plays its home games at the Royal Thai Army Stadium (Thai: สนาม กีฬา กองทัพ บก). The stadium is located on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Phaya Thai district of Bangkok in the north of the city. The owner of the 20,000-seat multi-purpose stadium is the Royal Thai Army .
