Royce Alexander White (born April 10, 1991 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) is an American basketball player.

After a strong college season 2011/12 with 13.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game, White signed up for the 2012 NBA draft . Due to severe anxiety in crowds and flights, it was considered completely open when and whether White would even be drafted. The Houston Rockets took the risk and drafted him in 16th place.

White didn't play a single NBA game after falling out with the Rockets over anxiety. On February 12, 2013, however, he played for the first time for their farm team in the NBA Development League , the Rio Grande Valley Vipers .

In the summer of 2013, White was transferred to the Philadelphia 76ers . However, he was fired from the 76ers on October 25, 2013 after failing to recommend himself for the squad. For the Sacramento Kings he finally came in March 2014 for the first time in the NBA. However, as part of two ten-day contracts, he only played three short appearances in addition to other games in the NBA Development League.
