Ruaval , also called Rueval , ( Gaelic : Ruabhal ) is a hill on the Scottish Hebridean island of Benbecula . It is not to be confused with the Rueval on the neighboring island of South Uist . It is the highest point on the island. The 124 m high elevation is located about two kilometers south-southeast of the settlement of Gramsdale and 1.2 km west-northwest of the second highest elevation Stiaraval . Ruaval is located in the sparsely populated interior of Benbecula, is mostly overgrown with grass and undeveloped.
