Gramsdale , also Gramisdale , ( Gaelic : Gramasdal ) is a small, rural scattered settlement on the north coast of the Scottish Hebridean island of Benbecula . It is located on the A865 , the most important road on Benbecula, about four kilometers east of the main town Balivanich and one kilometer southwest of the North Ford Causeway , a dam that connects Benbecula with the northeastern island of Grimsay .
