Rudhart of Constance
Rudhart von Konstanz († February 28, 1022 ) was Bishop of Konstanz from 1018 to 1022 .
Life
Rudhart was the chaplain of Emperor Heinrich II and was appointed Bishop of Constance by him in May 1018. He is first attested to as a participant in Henry II's march to Italy. Rudhart is only mentioned in documents in the vicinity of the emperor. During his term of office, we find episcopal pennies for the first time alongside the imperial denarii minted in Constance .
