Rudi! Radio for children

Rudi! Radio for Children (also Rudi, the mad radio dog ) is a literary radio program broadcast in Austria for "children, women, men and puppies".

Channel

Rudi Radiohund is an ORF production and has been broadcast on Austria 1 from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays , since January 2, 2003, between 15.55 and 16.00 . Since January 2009, the individual episodes have also been available as podcasts from the oe1.orf.at/kinder website. The 4,000th program was broadcast on June 27, 2019.

Content

The programs deal with social, scientific and everyday topics, which are conveyed in the form of reports in a child-friendly manner. Rudi's point of view, spoken very accentuated with acoustic elements such as barking , is a continuous element of the series. Rudi also often speaks to knowledgeable personalities or children on questions of all kinds. Interview partners report from their areas of expertise, for example, how to deal with anger , fear or Avoiding jealousy , what animals do in winter , how animals learn, or how to slide faster on water slides .

Every second Tuesday and Friday , stories from Christine Nöstlinger were also told.
