Rudi Feld

Rudi Feld (born December 22, 1896 in Berlin , † March 25, 1994 in Santa Monica , California ) was a German film architect and designer . He was one of the most famous architects at Universum Film AG (Ufa).

Life

Feld was born in Berlin. He studied at the art academy in Berlin. First he created cabaret and revue posters and later decorations for stage productions. After the seizure of power of the Nazis failed field Germany and tried to be a nightclub owner in Palestine . His brother, the actor Fritz Feld , made it possible for him to emigrate to the United States of America in 1937, where he was able to continue his professional career.
