Rudolf Bachmann (painter)

Rudolf Bachmann (born May 8, 1877 in Vienna ; † April 4, 1933 ibid) was an Austrian painter , architect and medalist .

Life

So far only a few biographical data are known of Rudolf Bachmann, such as his membership in the Hagenbund (1905–1912) and in the Vienna Künstlerhaus .

Three medals from his hand are kept in the medal collection of the Vienna Museum of Military History . His bronze medal for the death of the heir to the throne couple Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Sophie von Hohenberg on June 28, 1914 is shown in the permanent exhibition of the museum in Sarajevo-Travée.
