Rudolf Basedau
Rudolf Basedau (born November 20, 1897 in Geesthacht ; † October 23, 1975 ) was a German SPD politician .
Life and work
After elementary school and apprenticeship, Basedau worked at Deutsche Werft AG in the Geesthacht-Düneberg plant. There he became foreman, foreman and finally shift supervisor. He lived all his life in his native town Geesthacht.
Political party
Basedau participated in the re-establishment of the SPD in 1945. From 1950 he was local chairman of his party in Geesthacht.
MP
Basedau was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein from 1950 to 1967 . There he initially represented the constituency of Lauenburg-Süd and from 1954 the constituency of Lauenburg - Stormarn . From 1962 to 1967 he was deputy chairman of the submission committee.
Honors
On December 30, 1966, Basedau was awarded the First Class Cross of Merit of the Federal Cross of Merit at the suggestion of the state government .
