Rudolf Boese

Rudolf Boese (born June 28, 1839 in Clingen ; † November 13, 1912 in Arnstadt ) was a member of the Landtag of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen ( NLP ).

Rudolf Boese was the son of the pastor Otto Franz Boese and his wife Clara Sophia Ebart. Rudolf Boese, who was of Protestant Lutheran faith, married Floriane Wilhelmine Fanny Emma Lange (born March 18, 1844 in Arnstadt; † unknown) on May 24, 1866 in Arnstadt, the daughter of the hospital administrator Christian Wilhelm Lange.

Rudolf Boese was a businessman. In 1866, together with Hugo Maempel, he was the founder of the R. Boese & Co. material goods store in Arnstadt, which also included a cigar and wine shop and a coffee roastery. Later he was a reindeer in Amstadt. In 1900 and 1904 he was elected as a member of the Chamber of Commerce for the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen . In 1903 he became chairman of the supervisory board of Arnstädter Bank .

In 1887 he was a member of the electoral committee in support of the national liberal Reichstag candidate in the constituency of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen Carl Deahna . In the state parliament he was regarded as a "well-disposed loyal businessman". Until December 31, 1895 he was a member of the municipal council of the city of Arnstadt. From June 22, 1905 to March 31, 1912 he was a member of the Schwarzburg-Sondershäuser Landtag for the constituency of the highest taxable persons of the supremacy (NLP).

For his services he was awarded the Princely Cross of Honor III in 1903 . Class excellent.
