Rudolf Desch
Rudolf Desch (born August 1, 1911 in Bockenau ; † February 15, 1997 in Bad Sobernheim ) was a German composer and professor.
He worked as a composition teacher at the Johannes Gutenberg University and at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory . He became known for his numerous vocal compositions, especially for male choirs. His evening peace is part of the standard repertoire of numerous choirs.
Honors
In 1961 he was awarded the Peter Cornelius Plaque of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate and in 1971 the Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany.
