Rudolf Feischl

Rudolf Feischl (born September 29, 1899 in Linz , † September 4, 1985 there ) was an Austrian painter and art teacher .

Live and act

Feischl attended the painting school of Matthias May and taught there even the evening life drawing. In 1920 he took part in an exhibition by the Ring and in 1923 became a member of the artists' association MAERZ .

While attending Hans Hofmann's painting school in Munich , he dealt with cubist and expressionist theories of composition . Professionally, he worked as a magistrate official in Linz. For a time he gave up painting entirely.
