Rudolf Götz (* 22. February 1949 in Osterode am Harz ) is a German CDU - politician . From 2003 to 2017 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . Götz is married and has two children.

education and profession

After secondary school, Götz trained with the Lower Saxony police . From 1979 until he moved into the state parliament, he worked as a police chief inspector in the criminal and investigative service at the Bad Gandersheim police station .

politics

Rudolf Götz has been a member of the CDU since 1972. From 2004 to 2016 he was chairman of the CDU district association in Goslar.

Goetz is a member of the City Council of Seesen and chairman of the local CDU parliamentary group. He is also a member of the district council of the Goslar district and the association assembly of the Braunschweig area .

From 2003 to 2017, Rudolf Götz was a direct candidate for the Seesen constituency in the Lower Saxony state parliament. From 2003 to 2013 he was the state representative for expellees and repatriates . In the state election in 2017 Götz did not occur again.

Götz is a member of the police union in the DGB .
