Rudolf Goedecke

Rudolf Goedecke (born July 29, 1877 in Hanover ; † January 6, 1950 there ) was a German architect of historicism . With his buildings he shaped the cityscape of his hometown Hanover.

After graduating from high school, Goedecke studied at the technical institutes (today the University of Design ) in Offenbach am Main and then at the Technical University of Munich . From 1909 he ran an architecture office together with Wilhelm Leyn and worked independently from 1920.

  • Conversion of the Residenztheater in Munich
  • Apartment buildings of the housing cooperatives Heimat and Winfried
  • numerous single-family houses in Hanover-Kleefeld , Karlshafen , Bernburg (Saale) and other places, as well as various industrial plants.
