Rudolf Heinz Fischer

Rudolf Heinz Fischer (born January 26, 1916 in Eisenstadt ; † May 20, 2011 in Gleisdorf ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 1971 to 1975 he was a member of the National Council .

After secondary school, Rudolf Heinz Fischer attended the higher construction school in Graz and passed the Matura with distinction. He then studied at the Technical University, but did not graduate. From 1929 to 1932 he was with the Hitler Youth and joined the SS in 1932. From July 1934 to January 1937, ie during the “illegal time” , he was a member of SS-Sturm 12/38. After his pre-trial detention was imposed from March 1936 to July 1936, he fled to Munich. Even before the "Anschluss" , Fischer was taken over into the SS disposable troops. As early as 1938 he applied for admission to the NSDAP , which took place on May 1, 1938.

Professionally, he worked as a manager in the construction industry and started his own business as a builder. He also worked as a consultant for a construction company and a beverage manufacturer in Gleisdorf and was the owner and manager of a hotel guesthouse in Lech . Furthermore, he was active as a councilor in Gleisdorf from 1955 and took over the office of mayor of the municipality in 1965. He also acted as a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Styria from 1965 and represented the ÖVP in the National Council between November 4, 1971 and June 5, 1975.
