Rudolf Lennkh

Rudolf Lennkh (* 1953 in Vienna ) is an Austrian diplomat in retirement .

Life

He studied law and received a doctorate in law . He entered the foreign service and has been employed in Belgrade , Washington, DC , Abidjan , Buenos Aires and Madrid . From 2001 to 2005 he was ambassador to Mexico City . Between 2009 and 2013 he was ambassador to Madrid. From August 2013 to 2018 he was permanent representative of the Austrian Foreign Minister at the Council of Europe . In 2018 he was retired and won the chairmanship of CARE International Austria.

Private

He is married to Maud from South Tyrol. They have two grown children. The son works for the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg and the daughter for the trade association in Vienna.
