Rudolf Marwan locksmith

Rudolf Marwan-Schlosser (born May 8, 1914 in Košťany ; † July 26, 1993 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and building materials dealer. Marwan-Schlosser was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria from 1954 to 1962 and a member of the national council from 1962 to 1979 .

Marwan-Schlosser lived in Wiener Neustadt from 1916 and attended secondary school , which he graduated with the Matura. Marwan-Schlosser joined the army in 1933 and became a career officer. Marwan-Schlosser was a lieutenant from 1937 and served between 1939 and 1945 in World War II , where he was most recently a major in the general staff of the German Wehrmacht . From 1949 he worked professionally as a building materials dealer in Wiener Neustadt, and as a reserve officer in 1968 he became major of the General Staff of the Reserve. He also became increasingly involved in politics and in 1952 became district chairman of the economic association . From 1955 Marwan-Schlosser was a councilor in Wiener Neustadt, from 1956 a councilor and from 1962 to 1980 again a councilor. He represented the ÖVP from November 10, 1954 to December 3, 1962 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and was then a member of the National Council from December 14, 1962 to June 4, 1979. In addition, he was president of the Lower Austrian Aeroclub from 1956 to 1983 and from 1962 to 1976 ÖVP district party chairman.
