Rudolf Reichenau

Rudolf Reichenau (born May 12, 1817 in Marienwerder , † December 17, 1879 in Berlin ) was a German writer.

Life

Rudolf Reichenau was born the son of a medical councilor. He attended high school in Marienwerder. After high school he studied at the universities of Bonn and Berlin law . In 1838 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he worked as a writer. In his humorous and pedagogical books he orientated himself on Bogumil Goltz , but wrote less cynically.

Rudolf Reichenau died in Berlin in 1879 at the age of 62 and was buried in the old St. Matthew Cemetery in Schöneberg . The grave has not been preserved.
