Rudolf Saliger (politician)

Rudolf Saliger (born January 21, 1882 in Weidenau , Austrian Silesia ; † November 3, 1954 in Vienna-Penzing ) was an Austrian politician ( NSDAP ) and lieutenant colonel in the armed forces . Saliger was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1932 to 1933 .

After attending grammar school in Weidenau, Saliger graduated from high school and then switched to the technical military academy in Vienna . He entered the military in 1904 and remained in the service of the armed forces even after the First World War , which he ended in a highly decorated manner. Saliger represented the NSDAP between May 21, 1932 and June 23, 1933 in the Lower Austrian state parliament and lost his mandate in the course of the party ban of the NSDAP. He was also arrested in 1933.
