Rudolf von Mohl

Rudolf von Mohl (born October 3, 1803 in Herrenberg , † August 18, 1892 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer .

Life

Born as the son of a court notary, von Mohl studied law in Tübingen . During his studies he became a member of the Burschenverein / Burschenschaft Germania Tübingen in 1823 . After completing his studies, he became Ministerial Secretary in 1829 and Senior Justice Assessor in Tübingen in 1831. In 1834 he became a secret secretary at the Privy Council , and in 1836 a senior judicial officer in Stuttgart. In 1837 he worked at the High Tribunal and in 1838 in the Ministry of Justice , before becoming the head of the office in 1839. From 1840 he was a member of the Privy Council, where he was appointed State Council in 1847 and Real Privy Council in 1861 . After the Administrative Court was founded in 1877 , he was its first president. In 1879 he became chairman of the newly founded competence court. From 1869 to 1877 he was a member of the regional synod .
