Rudy Horn

Rudy Horn (born February 14, 1933 in Nuremberg ; † October 12, 2018 in Berchtesgaden ) was a German juggler .

Life

Horn came from a circus family . His maternal grandfather and uncle were jugglers. Horn juggled for the first time on Christmas Eve 1940. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him. When he was nine years old, he and his grandfather made his first public appearance. This was followed by appearances in the leading variety theaters in Germany. After the war he appeared in American soldiers' clubs. He became famous for his cup and saucer numbers, particularly on the unicycle and juggling with clubs and balls. In 1975 he retired as a juggler and then worked as a tennis instructor.

Horn has had his permanent residence in Berchtesgaden since 1961 .
