Rufus C. Camphausen (born February 16, 1948 in Germany ; † May 20, 2013 in Leeuwarden ) was a German- Dutch author in the field of spiritual eroticism and mysticism .

Among other things, Camphausen designed in 1981, together with Apolonia van Leeuwen, a purely symbolic tarot ("Tree-of-Life") based on the kabbalistic tree of life . According to the Hermetic Kabbalah , the 22 Hebrew letters represent the trump cards and paths, the 10 Sephiroth the number cards, the four elements the court cards and the four suites of the minor arcana the descending four worlds of Kabbalah.
