Ruhr reservoirs
The Ruhr reservoirs are reservoirs created in the course of the Ruhr , which mainly took over and take over tasks of the water supply of the Ruhr area and the cleaning of the Ruhr.
The reservoirs in the Ruhr area also have a high value as a leisure and recreational focus for the population of the nearby cities. There, competitive and recreational athletes as well as hikers, cyclists and families will find many usable offers. In addition, the reservoirs are part of the route of industrial culture (theme route 12: past and present of the Ruhr ).
