Rui Carlos Pinho da Vitória (born April 16, 1970 in Alverca do Ribatejo ) is a former Portuguese footballer and coach .

He began as a trainer with stations a. a. at CD Fátima and FC Paços de Ferreira before coming to Guimarães. Rui Vitória has led the Vitória Guimarães team since the 2011/12 season and won the Taça de Portugal against Benfica Lisbon with the club in 2013 . In 2015 he succeeded Jorge Jesus at Benfica .

During his tenure he celebrated some successes, he was u. a. twice Portuguese football champion . In the 2015/16 season he was voted the best coach in the Primeira Liga.

Rui Votória was released on January 4, 2019. On January 8, 2019, "O Jogo" reported that Rui Vitória was moving to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia .
