The ruins Eppenburg is an Outbound Spur castle on 690  m above sea level. NN northeast of Frohnstetten (field name "Eppenburg"), a district of the municipality of Stetten am kalten Markt in the district of Sigmaringen ( Baden-Württemberg ).

The castle lies on an east spur about 20 m above the valley floor of the Schmeie and was built in the 12th century by the Lords of Frohnstetten, who were first mentioned in 1246 with Heinrich von Frohnstetten . The Lords of Westerstetten are named as other local and castle lords. The castle was destroyed in the 15th to 16th centuries, and today only a few remains of the wall are evidence of it.
