The Goldhubel ruins are the ruins of a hilltop castle from the 10th century in the municipality of Aegerten in the canton of Bern .

location

On the edge of the former Zih level there are two hills on which the remains of the earth castle (moth) are.

history

The artificially raised tower hill was the residence of the knights. The castle was inhabited from around the 10th to the 13th century and was probably built by the knights of Pfeid or their ancestors.

In 1999 the State of Bern acquired the site to maintain the facility.
