Ruined city of Tazicheng
The ruined city of Tazicheng ( Chinese 塔 子 城 址 , Pinyin Tǎzǐchéng zhǐ , English Tazicheng ancient city ruins - "Ruins of the Pagoda City") in Tailai County of the Chinese province of Heilongjiang is a city from the time of the Liao Dynasty , Jin Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty . It was the city of Genghis Khan 's younger brother.
It is located 45 km northwest of the district in the large municipality of Tazicheng 塔 子 城镇. Because there is a brick pagoda (zhuanta 砖塔) outside the city, it is called “Pagoda City” 塔 子 城. It is the largest ancient city in western Heilongjiang.
The Tazicheng site has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-65) since 2006 .
