Runddysse from Højby
The Runddysse of Højby is located on Stenstrupvej northwest of Højby near Holbæk in Odsherred Municipality on the Danish island of Zealand .
The Runddysse lies in a 2.0 m high hill about 15.0 m in diameter. The approximately 2.0 m high, hexagonal chamber of the polygonal dolmen measures approximately 2.0 × 2.12 m. It is formed by five supporting stones with tile seals in the spaces. A colossal capstone with a few bowls lies on top . On the southeast side there is a 0.42 m high threshold stone . A short corridor with a side stone and a cap stone each forms the entrance. The dolmen dates from the Neolithic around 3500–2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).
The Langdysse of Toftebjerg and Troldhøj are nearby .
