ARGE broadcasting operating technology
The consortium radio operation and maintenance (RBT) located in Nuremberg is a working group of the eight ARD institutions equipment BR , HR , MDR , RB , RBB , SR , SWR , WDR , and Germany Radio and ZDF .
The overriding operational tasks of the RBT in the field of studio and transmission technology have the goal of guaranteeing a uniform technical development and equipping of the broadcasting stations as well as achieving a high level of transmission technology. The RBT supports its members with tests and acceptance measurements at the manufacturers, before commissioning at the broadcasters and in their own rooms. Furthermore, planning and supply measurements are carried out throughout Germany.
Other joint facilities of the public broadcasting corporations include the Institute for Broadcasting Technology , the ARD.ZDF medienakademie , the German Broadcasting Archive and the ARD ZDF Deutschlandradio Contribution Service .
