Runway 27, Left
Runway 27, Left is the blues project of the former Trans Am / Sun Luca / Run Riot bassist Erich “Weissfeder” Brandl and the My Other Brother singer Anthony “Tone” Kammerhofer from Vienna in Austria. The two musicians (Erich - guitar, bass, choral singing and Tone - vocals, guitar) reflect on the roots of rock and pop and call their style "in-blues entertainment".

Career
After more than 80 concerts between 2011 and 2015 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the acoustic blues duo Runway 27, Left's first album called "Weekend Warriors" was released in March 2012 on their label "Weissfeder Records". The harbinger of their first album - the radio-only single "Flawed & Flattened" - had radio appearances in the UK, USA, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, Germany, Austria and Macedonia.
In April and May 2012 the duo gave their first, brief guest performances at the invitation of local artists in Memphis , Tennessee and New Orleans , Louisiana . In February 2013, Runway 27, Left returned to Memphis, Tennessee, to record the first songs for their future second album at the historic Sun Studio . The second part of the album was recorded in September 2013 in the Tonbrauerei in Berlin (release: January 2014). In January 2016 Runway 27, Left received the Akademia Music Awards for Best Blues Song for "Tex-Mex Food & Texas Blues".
Further highlights in 2016 and 2017 were the first concerts by Runway 27, Left in the United Kingdom and appearances at larger open airs in southwest Germany and Austria. Just in time for the 10th anniversary of Runway 27, Left, Andy Storm, percussionist with passion and great ambitions in live and studio technology, was won as a new member for the project at the beginning of 2020.
