reception

“With her second feature film after 'Mars' (2004), Azerbaijan-born director Anna Melikian made a fantastically light, melancholy and comical film. In her movie fairy tale, Alisa, das Meermädchen 'she combines the material of Hans Christian Andersen's' little mermaid' and fantasy imagination to create a surreal big city romance. "
