Ruslan Rafailewitsch Sharifullin ( Russian Руслан Рафаилевич Шарифуллин; born August 25, 1985 in Tschussowoi ) is a Russian freestyle skier . He's on the moguls specialized disciplines, contained moguls and dual moguls.

biography

Scharifullin took part in the European Cup from February 2003 and immediately achieved a podium finish on his first appearance. He made his debut in the Freestyle World Cup on December 6, 2003 in Ruka , where he took 21st place in the Moguls competition and won his first World Cup points. The best result in its inaugural season was a 14th place. On January 22, 2005, he drove to third place in Fernie and thus achieved his first World Cup podium. At the end of the 2004/05 season, he won two Russian championship titles.

In the 2005/06 World Cup season, a 6th place was Sharifullin's best result, at the 2006 Winter Olympics he came in 27th place. After not getting past a 7th place in the 2006/07 season, he won the final World Cup in 2007 in Madonna di Campiglio the bronze medal in the dual moguls competition. His best result so far in the World Cup he achieved on January 26, 2008 with 2nd place at Mont Gabriel . The 2008/09 season remained without a top result, with the exception of winning the third Russian championship title.

Since 2010 Scharifullin has not competed in the World Cup, but he is still listed as "active" by the FIS .
