Ruslan Vladimirovich Faifer
Ruslan Vladimirovich Faifer ( Russian Руслан Владимирович Файфер * 10. May 1991 in Ust-Barguzin , Russia ) is a Russian professional boxer in the cruiserweight division and currently undefeated.
The 1.84 meter tall left-hand boom made its debut in 2013 with a points win over the Ukrainian Roman Mirzoev. Already in his third fight Faifer won the vacant WBC Baltic Silver title when he also defeated his compatriot Yuri Barashian on points at the end of September of the following year.
In the summer of 2015 Faifer defeated the until then unbeaten Vladimir Goncharov for the Russian championship in a 10-round fight by majority decision.
In 2017 Faifer boxed for the vacant international title of the association IBF and won in round 12 by technical knockout and defended that belt against David Basajjamivule also by technical knockout.
