Ust-Barguzin ( Russian Усть-Баргузин ; Buryat Баргажанай-Адаг , Bagashanai-Adag ) is an urban-type settlement in the South Siberian Republic of Buryatia ( Russia ) with 7,173 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).

In the settlement of the wide through a valley flows east of the Barguzin Mountains flowing Barguzin in the Lake Baikal . Ust-Barguzin forms an urban municipality (gorodskoje posselenije) to which, in addition to the urban settlement, the villages of Gussicha, Katun and Maximicha within a radius of more than 50 km as well as rural settlements Kurbulik, Monachowo, Swjatoi Nos, Tschiwyrkui and Uschkanji Ostrowa belong.
