List of cities in the Republic of Buryatia
This is a list of urban-type cities and settlements in the Russian Republic of Buryatia .
The table below shows the cities and urban settlements of the republic, their Russian names, the administrative units to which they belong ( Rajon or urban district ), their population figures for October 14, 2010, their coats of arms and geographical coordinates. There are six cities and 14 urban-type settlements in the republic.

The following localities formerly had city rights (*) or the status of urban-type settlement (excluding those that were later given city rights and are listed in the table above) and are now again villages (selo), unless otherwise stated:
