Russell Napier
Russell Napier (born November 28, 1910 in Perth , Australia , † August 19, 1974 in London , England ) was an Australian actor .
Napier was actually a lawyer, but he worked as an actor from 1947 to 1974. He played both comical and serious roles in cinema and television films. For example, he played the time machine in the first film adaptation of HG Wells in 1949. There are no longer any copies of this film. He starred in thirteen films in the role of Scotland Yard Superintendent Duggan between 1953 and 1961.
